Mulyan Wines is a boutique, family operated winery located on the outskirts of Cowra, in the NSW Central Ranges. Jenni and Peter Fagan, and their family, planted the vineyards in 1994, with the first wines released four years later in 1998.
The Vineyard comprises Chardonnay, Shiraz, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Being very conscious of our impact on the environment, the vineyard is managed in a way to develop environmental sustainability. This includes recycling irrigation as well as mulching the vines to conserve water.
The Fagans are working closely with the Cowra Region Vineyard Association in further developing the "Cowra Sustainable Wine Partnership". The mission of this partnership is to produce wines of regional character with the least environmental impact of any region in Australia.
Our flagship wines include the 'Block 7' Cowra Chardonnay and the 'Block 9' Cowra Shiraz Viognier. These are both single vineyard wines which highlight the exception quality that lies within the Cowra region.
As respected wine scribe Campbell Mattinson described the Mulyan Chardonnay - "Oh boy - if you like Chardonnay, get on board. This is enormous value."
